B: A Great Piece of Architecture


This is the Beijing National Stadium (commonly know as the Bird's Nest) located in Beijing, China. The construction first began on 24 December 2003, and was officially open in 2008 for the Summer Olympic Games which was held in Beijing. The construction costed $423 million, with 17,000 construction workers worked on this project and approximately 110,000 tonnes of steel, claiming itself the title of the world's largest steel structure.
